Caity's picking up vocabulary like it's going out of style. She can say a lot of the colors (blue, yellow, purple, green), animals (snail, frog, puppy, ducky, flamingo), food (yogurt, apple, cookie, pizza), people outside the family (Ryley, Zariah and Ms Becky from daycare) and even some abstract concepts (many, big). I remember reading about how quickly babies picked up language, but it's amazing to see it in action.

We discovered the mystery of the flamingo. There's a book at daycare with some flamingos in it, but the teacher was surprised since they didn't read it that often. She must've liked them.

Funny story from today. Caity really loves yogurt, and was asking for some at lunch. My mom said: "OK, but you can only have two spoons worth." Caity's reply: "BIIIG spoon!"
